VERY important video to watch!!!!

Hey everyone,  Dr. J. has posted another video regarding the Mirena that is AMAZING.  It explains the connection between the Mirena and our autoimmune response.  Most of us all had awful symptoms that mimicked autoimmune diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, etc....and this video explains why that is.

One thing that I want to also highlight in this video is the acknowledgement of how LONG it takes for a woman's body--EVEN WITH SUPPLEMENTATION--to rebound from this kind of damage.  I know, ladies, it is so hard to deal with these symptoms...and I know how desperately you want it all to be over RIGHT NOW...but, unfortunately, that usually isn't the case with this type of damage.  Dr. J. does a good job here explaining that.  I just want to stress that because I see so many women out there who are so frustrated that they are taking so long to get better, or they start some supplements, take them for a couple of weeks, and if they don't feel better by then, they give up and stop taking them.  Ladies, that DOESN'T WORK.  Your body needs these supplements to draw upon to give your systems a chance to fight on its own behalf.  But, it isn't something that happens overnight.

I am at almost 16 months post removal, and I can honestly say that I am finally out of this nightmare, I have a "bobble" here and there that is very minor, and I haven't regained the vision that I lost, but other than that, I finally have my life back.  But notice, that is 16 months after the day I had the Mirena removed...and I have been taking supplements every day for the last 13 months.  Is it fun?  NO.  Is it cheap?  NO (although, it is much cheaper than the MRIs, tests, and constant Dr. visits, etc).  Is it frustrating?  YEP.  But you know what?  It is worth it.  Why?  Because today I can say that my nightmare is pretty much over, and unlike so many others out there, I am not taking a single prescription, heart medication, anxiety or depression medication....NOTHING.  My symptoms are gone, and it was because I chose to dig in my heels and be patient as I fed my body the needed (and natural) detox and cellular rebuilding supplements as my body used them to heal itself from the inside out.  Yes, I could have taken anxiety meds, and painkillers, and Lord knows what else in order for me to feel better immediately....but, I wouldn't have been better...I would have just been numb--covering up my symptoms while I just added more synthetic poisons to my already over-toxic system.  Had I gone that route, I would probably still be on those meds, and my body would still be completely overwhelmed.

Yes, the route that I took makes you have to deal with crashes as they hit (which, Praise God, are done for me now--knock on wood), and it made me have to find patience as my body SLOWLY returned to normal.   But I am so proud of myself for doing that....and for finally being on the other side of this nightmare completely medication free.  It was so worth it.  SO worth it.

Ladies, DO NOT GIVE UP.  Your bodies will heal.  I promise.  You just need to get the Mirena out, do the "turbo detox" (see previous post) to get your liver to get the toxins out, and then you need to take certain supplements for your body to use during this time that it has been depleted from its own natural reserves and while it figures out how to start working properly again.   For some women, they bounce back right away, but for many--like me--it takes a long time.  I know it is frustrating, and I know that you want your life back right now--I did too--but the day is coming.  Don't lose patience.

I will address all of this more in a future post, but for now, I wanted to get Dr. J.'s video out there for you to see.  Remember, if you can't find someone near you, you can call Dr. J. and speak with him.  He has shipped supplements to women all over the country (the world for that matter) since I have worked with him.  He has spent countless hours learning as much as he can about what the Mirena did to us, and he is more than willing to help you.  What he is finding, though, is that many women start with him, take the supplements for a week or so, and then they quit and wonder why they aren't any better.  That is why he made this video....to try to explain what has happened, and why it takes a long time to recover (and why women are healing at different rates).

So here you go.  I hope that you learn as much as I did.  If you have any questions, please post it in the comments section below.  Dr. J. or I can respond to you.    Keep fighting for your health, and you will continue to heal.  Don't give up.  Your day is coming.  Promise.

  1. I'm so glad I found your blog. Have you heard from any other readers who were diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis (AVN) after using Mirena? My doctors keep telling me it was an "autoimmune issue" that caused it, but I am confident that it was Mirena. Especially since they can't figure me out and the timeline is too perfect. Thank you for providing a place for women to come and talk.

  5. Oh wow. I'm so glad I randomly found your blog. I currently have mirena and have had it for about 4 years. I went to my iridologist a couple months ago because I was desperate for help. I was SO exhausted to the point of needing 13 hours of sleep a day! She told me my thyroid, adrenals, etc, were way off. Exactly what this dr. Explained. I am calling planned parenthood tomorrow to get it removed. This video really opened my eyes! After I get it removed I'm going to my iridologist or a naturopath to get my body back on track. Do you recommend the pill? I've only had mirena and am 24 years old. Also, interestingly, I had a miss carriage with mirena!!! Very sad. Thanks again for creating awareness!!

  6. Hi Proud Mama... i had Mirena for a few months and developed what the doctor's say is probably "rheumatoid arthritis". I had that thing taken out of me right away even though i was told that it wasn't the cause of my symptoms... i am 3 months post-removal now. i am hoping that making the connection early will help me recover faster. (also hoping that i recover at all!) Like you said, it's hard to keep up with people long enough to see if they ever got better - so i hope we can stay in touch and sometime be able to both have the nightmare behind us. i am avoiding the RA drugs right now with bikram yoga, a vegan diet, and physical therapy... but considering trying the meds to see if they can calm the autoimmune storm that the mirena started. Best of luck to us both and everyone else out there.

  7. I wanted to let everyone know it has been the worst 4 years of my life having the mirena. I just got it out yesterday and I already feel the difference. I feel like my stress plug has just been released. Started seeing a naturopath last week. He told me to get the IUD out a.s.a.p. I'm praying that it will not be a long process to get my body back. I gained close to 100lbs. Stroke. Really bad skin rashes, flare ups, scarred dark areas. High blood pressue, migraines, terrible mood swing, always feeling angry, stressed, depressed, got social anxiety, self conscious, chronic fatigued, edema, high liver enzymes, liver congestion, which became fatty liver, and worst of all thyroid cancer. Had to have it removed. I think the mirena is the worst birth control ever! I do not recommend it. I have lived basically in the twilight zone for the past 4 year. I'm back know in full force. Will be juicing, master cleansing, detoxing, seeing my naturopath Dr, doing massage therapy, reflexology, and seeing a Master Reiki. Best of luck to everyone. Hope this helps you decide.

  8. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences on this blog. I am so grateful for finding your voice and the many other women who have contributed on here as well. I have been thinking about Mirena for some time now and went to my doctor yesterday to get her opinion and find out more. She was very persistent and ecstatic about it, trying to explain how wonderful and easy Mirena is...in less than 7 minutes. She wanted to measure my uterus right then and there to get it going but thankfully didn't have the equipment to do so. I am only 23 and had an intense experience with an unwanted pregnancy, putting foreign hormones into my body and dealing with a long recovery back to feeling like myself. I have heard good things about the IUD from friends but having experienced depression/intense pain/ many other side effects from the abortion pill I wanted to make an educated decision and not take the easy way out again. I am a medical student now taking anatomy, physiology, and immune response courses. It has made me look at the body and the pharmaceutical industry in a completely different light.

Thank you again. And many blessings to you on your journey to a full recovery!

  9. Have the Mirena and am getting it removed tomorrow! I've had a total of 30+ lbs weight gain, along with autoimmune thyroid disorder. Fatigue, hair loss, itchy skin, fatigue. Along with shortness of breath, I literally gasp for air sometimes. Also flare ups of major right side pain, ( gahlbladder/liver area). I'm also having a HIDA scan tomorrow to check both of those. Hopefully I can get back to " ME"

  10. Hello.
I am going through so much after having the mirena taken out 4 weeks ago. I feel like I could die! I was wondering the exact name of the detox you took from there so I can order mine now. I am having the silocone test done Monday.

    2. Side effects I've experienced since I've had the mirena are sebaceous dermatitis with skin scarring on my face (dark spots) [basically the skin keeps shedding and they've given me antifungal cream for it], general dry skin all over my body, a fair amount of acne on my upper back thighs, fatigue all the time, decreased sex drive, a couple of cysts have popped up on my vaginal lips and scalp, and those high AST/ALT levels. I didn't have any of these problems until I got the mirena.

  13. I have had the Mirena for 6 months and my autoimmune levels are declining. I just found out that I have a fatty liver which is something I've never struggled with. Does anyone know if removing it will reverse the issues?

  14. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
